Jane Hanser is the author and developer of
Easy Writer: Interactive Software for Learners of English,
software for improving writing, editing and grammar skills
used throughout the United States and the world.
Her poetry, essays and movie reviews have been published in numerous print and online
journals and newspapers such as
Poetica Magazine,
The Persimmon Tree,
Every Writer's Resource,
The Jewish Journal,
River Poets Journal,
The Newton Tab, JNS.org, and others. Ms.
Hanser taught English as a Second Language and remedial writing for
many years at several campuses of the City University of New York.
She has an M.Ed. in English Education, subspecialty English as a Second
Language, from Temple University Graduate
School, in Philadelphia.
Ms. Hanser lives in Newton, MA, with her husband
Phil, and their four bicycles.
